Magnets produce a constant field around themselves, the issue is this field can interfere with electrical systems by doing something called “inducing voltage”. When you move a magnet past a stationary conductor, it actually aligns the electrons and simulates them moving, which is what electricity is.
In a system like a TV, or other sensitive electronics, this wave “convinces” the electronics that its part of the signal so it responds to the magnet the way its programed, acting like thats the signal it should be listening to. When someone shakes or freezes from being electrocuted, this is similar. Your muscles *think* your brain is telling them to shake constantly because they also rely on electricity to work. Another example is compasses going crazy under power lines, this is because it picks up the stronger electronic field (magnetic) from the power lines as thats easier to read than the actual magnetic pull of the earth at that distance.
