Regarding automatic blood pressure cuffs, I’m wondering why some blood pressure cuffs have two tubes and others only have one.

One benefit could be a separate connection for the pressure sensor and the pressure pump. This probably reduces the noise/error in pressure readings. Of course it costs more for tubing etc. so that’s a design tradeoff.

Two identical tubes or two different tubes? Cause in the latter case the second one is a microphone. Measuring the blood pressure via the regular listening for RR sounds, in addition to the oacillometry normally employed by automatic cuffs.
