1. The initial agitation of mixing releases a lot of the dissolved carbon dioxide.

2. The new mixed drink has a greater volume and less dissolved carbon dioxide than the initial soda, so it is no longer supersaturated. There is no driving force to make the small remaining amount of dissolved carbon dioxide come out of the drink.
