When your blood sugar is low, your hunger hormones (Ghrelin and Leptin) increase, but your satiety hormones (Peptide YY and Cortisol) decrease. This makes you feel hungry.
When you are hungry, and you smell food, your hunger hormones increase, and your satiety hormones decrease. This makes you feel even hungrier.
On top of that, your blood sugar is low, so your mood is lowered, and your body can’t make good decisions, so you become angry.
