Reactive hypoglycaemia. Basically, with some people, when they eat, their body produces a little more insulin than they actually need. So they get low blood sugar. Not low blood sugar like a T1 diabetic can get, but enough to make you super hangry and irritable.
The way to deal with it is to eat several small meals a day instead of just three. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. A snack like apple slices with peanut butter or the like. Carbs/fat/protein mix.
