[ELI5]Why are cold pressed oils and juices better than the regular ones?

Hot pressed oils generally change composition due to the intense heat, and so need to be refined to become “edible” again. The hot press process tends to break down certain nutrients and beneficial compounds, while they are retained in cold pressing.
Essentially, it’s just a tad healthier.
