The computer processing the data is significantly more powerful in the human. Plus our eyes can adjust their sensitivity by increasing the levels of rhodopsin in the retina.

Hold up a toilet paper tube to your eye and then compare, the eye is round so there are more directions light can enter, whilst a camera lens is usually in a sort of scope blocking out the non-direct lights
