FOR PHOTOSYNTHESIS: How does water break up into oxygen, protons, AND electrons? And how does the addition of electrons AND H+ create NADPH, rather than NADPH+?

Really what the title says. I’m currently taking AP Bio, and I really don’t get photosynthesis. I’m trying to get these little details first, because it helps to understand the bigger picture.

Hydrogen, in its most abundant form, is an electron + a proton. So when you generate “electrons and protons”, all you’re doing is ionizing H+ and using the electron elsewhere.
