What is the difference between these two terms? I surfed but couldn’t really understand. Thanks in advance.

Harmonious passions are done in accordance with one’s values, which makes one feel content. Obsessive passions are done to achieve some semblance of perfection, which does not really exist, and leads to never being satisfied.
