How are some diseases asymptomatic? How do the pathogens prevent the body from having fever?

Many bacteria live inside your body all the time. An adult human contains more bacteria cells than human cells (many bacteria are small). It’s a mode of survival as a germ, don’t give the host a disease and its immune system won’t boot you out. If a virus hijacks only a few cells, it won’t stimulate a response and it can make many copies. Get greedy, and you get a response and t_e body builds immunity against future invasions.

Its not the pathogen giving you fever. Its your body fighting off the infection releasing chemicals and shit that make your temperature go up. You also have other stuff that makes you feel pain/fatigue too.
