There is also a different kind of unsolvable problem: one with infinitely many solutions. If you know x=4 then you can solve y=2*x.
However, you cannot solve y = 2*x + z because you do not know what z is. There are some cases where it is very difficult or impossible to know what z is making this problem unsolvable.
