How can hot dog buns be cut all the way through but also stuck together in the package so they have to be torn apart?

It’s done by spinning blades. Most hot dog buns come as 3’s ( the dozen or 6 pack). There’s 1 blade that cuts 1 bun on outside and another blade that cuts the insides of 2 buns. They stay together.
