How can the aircon be at the same temperature for both heating/cooling modes and feel different?

A) It’s either blowing hot air or cold air until the room reaches the temp you wanted. Not 23°c air or whatever you’ve set it to.

B) in cooling mode, the evaporator providing the cooling doubles as a dehumidifier. So you get cold dry air vs warm possibly damp/humid air.
