I’ve seen this scene in movies and tv shows many times, like ‘Mother’, ‘Peaky Blinders’ and so on. They just hold a boob, it can be their own or another woman’s, and go “oh, I’m/you’re pregnant”. What exactly are they feeling when they do this?

Your boobs get bigger. And they hurt because of it. My ex wife knew that she was pregnant with our second because of this, she had one day of sore boobs, wrote it off, second day woke up with boobs feeling bigger and more sore and was like o shit I’m pregnant. Same with my second wife (she had two kids already) she knew as soon as her boobs were sore that she needed a preg test. I wouldn’t expect first time mothers to know this symptom but prob if they complain to their friends/family they would say the same. Sore, engorged boobs = preggers.
