How come the head and neck age and wrinkle when the rest of the body is incredibly toned going into old age?

Just saw a picture of the man who plays James Bond. His body is fire, but you can certainly tell his age in his face and neck. I’ve seen this before with older folks who are incredibly fit. What makes the face and neck age so much more?

Sun exposure, constant contact, loss of collagen and loss of muscle in an area where it can’t be exercised

short answer: uv exposure from the sun. most people wear clothes when outside but face/neck are more commonly uncovered and exposed to sunlight.
