how come the sac from a sebaceous cyst is physically attached to the body?

I understand that for a sebaceous cyst to go away the sac needs to be cut out. I’ve cut out a few on my own, and I’ve watched hundreds of hours of cyst extractions, and noticed that very seldom does the sac just pop out without needing to be cut it from the body. I’ve always been curious as to how the sac physically attaches itself

It doesn’t “attach itself”, it is formed by the tissues already attached to the rest of the, usually, skin. A cyst is just that tissue gone wrong/growing into a shape it shouldn’t be in; usually made of whatever tissue is around it (tendon, muscle or skin).
