How come we have to always deplete the energy of a phone battery or power bank when we first buy it and only then do we charge it?

This may have been true for old phone batteries but now its not necessary, you can charge your smartphone/powerband whenever you want. Your device’s lithium-ion battery doesn’t care if it’s at 10% or 80% capacity; it will charge just fine without destroying your device’s longevity.
