Consent isn’t biological and doesn’t leave traces.

However you can tell from the state of a body that someone recently had sex or had rough sex or had sex they probably didn’t enjoy very much.

This is not fool proof, as people get up to all kinds of shit with each others consent.

On the other hand rape does not have to be violent. People can be coerced into sex against their will and human bodies react to these things in weird ways that don’t necessarily imply consent.

So at best you get not evidence but at least some indication.

And when you have a dead body that shows such signs as bruises, vaginal/anal tearing and defensive wounds it may not be 100% proof, but at least a strong indicator that questions need to be asked.
