What? Did you mean on a regular basis? Because feces is supposed to be solid. Not sure what your question is referring to.

feces turn solid in the intensities because all the water gets absorbed there. so it goes from liquid to solid. when you get diarrhea, it doesn’t go from liquid to solid to then liquid again; it just never became solid in the first place. this is because for some reason water failed to get absorbed in the gut. that is the reason you can get dehydrated when you have diarrhea

Once your stomach has turned your food into liquid, it passes into the small intestine. This area has a large surface area “The absorptive surface area of the small intestineis actually about 250 square meters (almost 2,700 square feet) – the size of a tennis court!” This is due to its shape and surface. The nutrients are absorbed and this thickening process takes place untill it’s passed into the large intestine, whose job is to absorb the water.

There are different biological mechanisms that trigger diarrhea but it could be as simple as too much water at that time. ( http://www.vivo.colostate.edu/hbooks/pathphys/digestion/smallgut/diarrhea.html )
