How do keys with central locking not open more than one car? There are so many cars, surely some keys open multiple cars? Especially same year, model etc.

There are many, many more cars than locks. Your key will open many cars, but you don’t know which ones.

That’s why ignition keys have chips. Chips and RF locking fobs are the opposite. There are many, many more codes than there are cars.

im not sure but i thing they have like “2000” models of lock, so you could potentially open another car with your key
