How do music artists stay cool (Temperature wise) while performing on tour?

Especially when they sing and dance. Correct me if I’m wrong, but most concerts are at least two hours long. With all the lights, machines, and the large groups of people that produce heat, how does a music artist stay cool? I’ve noticed a lot of artists are covered in sweat, especially when they are dancing for two hours straight. I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but I have wondered this for quite some time now.

Depends on the person and the venue (much better to cool off in an outdoor setting compared to a venue with 5000 sweaty sardines). Some artists need to break a sweat before they go on stage due to the adrenaline rush of performing.

Also, thin and breathable clothing helps.

You don’t. Stage lights are hot, and playing in a packed room will get really hot because of body heat. Just stay hydrated.

They don’t, as you pointed out, they are covered in sweat which isn’t a sign of keeping cool. They do, however, keep hydrated with water or with a liquid of their choice.
