How do our voices know which notes to hit when singing?

I believe the brain has a lot to do with it… Your brain is constantly processing memory, hearing, vocal tone and breathing to allow you to manage to sing a song. In essence, you are thinking faster than real-time, allowing you to perform complex tasks.
