– In many cases you will find a microscopic *”content shown does not represent actual gameplay”*, explaining that the ad is just a symbolic representation of the intended gameplay.
– Ads have creative liberties. Red Bull does not give you actual wings to fly around, it is just a symbolic representation of the feeling when you drink it. There is a fine line between creative representation and false advertising and the latter is usually targeting not on the commercial itself, but on hard numbers. Like when it´s not the ad itself, but “this is a screenshot of the game” or “it does not have micro transactions” etc.
