How do reality TV shows organise family visits/surprises, particularly from overseas or very far away?

It’s never (or I doubt it is) a surprise because you need/want all the important people there and the chances are slim (work, free time activities, travelling etc.)
Wondered that to. But I’m pretty sure when you get picked for a reality show they dig through your family history for each contestants psych evals before they can officially join the cast so I’m sure they have all that info on top of emergency contacts. Then I’d assume they pay for their family to fly where ever they are.
