How do suddenly just choke on your own saliva?

I don’t know how it feasibly happens and why it happens as often as it does 😅

I think it’s more you’re aspirating it. Breathing some into your windpipe, not really choking on it.

We are not perfect animals; our bodies make all kinds of foolish mistakes

Absentmindedly and automatically deal with the saliva for months on end without question; choke one it once and all of a sudden it’s a body gone haywire
