You need to throw them in such a way that they’re not already touching each other, but are close enough to attract. When they’re apart, they attract, but the force with which they collide will also make them bounce off each other, and after that they’ll attract, and then bounce, and so on, many times. So, basically, they’re hitting each other many-many times, and that’s where the buzzing sound comes from.
