So… not an expert nor do i work in the field. But i did spend some time looking for a ring for my wife a while back. The only difference between lab grown vs reg diamonds is that lab grown are perfect diamonds with no imperfections while reg diamonds may have some “imperfections”.

When we compare perfect reg diamonds vs lab grown, lab grown diamonds need to be lazer engraved indicating that they are lab grown.

So, with that said, if you had the tools and knew the process of it, you could flood market with diamonds and make some money selling home made rocks.
