How does a bunch of bananas spoil at different rates?

Bananas from the same bunch will have the same age. I am not sure about the genetic makeup variation. Of course, the change in micro environmental interactions. I want to hear it if someone can put it succinctly.

There is genetic variation on bananas of the same bunch that can play some minor role. If you are meaning genuine spoiling not just turning brown, then each banana will have a unique bacterial/mould colony on it and some of these colonies may be faster at reproducing leading to faster spoiling. If its oxidization i has to do with how the banana bunch is stored, not all of the individual bananas will be exposed to the same concentration of oxidizing chemicals.
