People say don’t pick your skin because it makes pimples/zits worse, but I don’t really get how they go away on their own if I don’t pop them. I searched online, but the sources that I was able to find only explained pimple formation and treatment options as opposed to the process that makes them go away. If I understand that process, I think I’ll be able to stop picking at my skin so much.
Does the pus just dissipate back into the skin? Does the skin push it out on its own? What’s my body supposed to be doing if I don’t pick at my face?
