How does genetics work when it cons to height? Is there a “tall” gene?

I understand the dominant and recessive genes in something like being red headed. But how does it work for height?

In: Biology

There isn’t a single gene, instead there are a number of different genes which operate to describe the potential height, diet and environmental factors then work together to see if you achieve the potential height. –
