Title. And I mean this in a scientific way, like does your brain do or release something specific or doesn’t do something that it should normally?

When we get stressed our body produces a hormone called Cortisol. Cortisol in large concentrations can be just as, if not more, effective at clogging arteries as cholesterol. The web is full of articles on it. I was informed about this after I had stents put. I had a very stressful full job and a genetic predisposition for heart disease. I would have loved to have this info before the stents put in before I was 40. Maybe could have tried to do something before then to avoid becoming a life long heart patient.
