How does the brain differentiates an hereditary mental disorder from ane aquired one?

Some mental disorders are hereditary and other are caused due to trauma, but some can have both origins. Does our brain makes a difference in that?

The brain makes no difference. Actual disorders might be different, and present differently, but your brain can’t tell the origin of your disorder.
