How does the contact lens stay in the center of the eye and not go anywhere in the white part when already worn?

It doesn’t always. I had to have one I couldn’t find, fished out of the back of my eye several years ago. I thought I lost it, but no, it was clear around behind where you couldn’t see it. I never wore contacts again. I didn’t like them that well anyway.
