how my stomach is hard when I’m obese?

I’m 6’4 340lbs. I have a large gut (cuz I’m fat). I have friends who have the same stature but are flabby and soft.im a solid guy. Sure I have some Dunlop syndrome but for the most part all my fat is in my chest and gut.

I don’t understand how the body works.

Women tend to place fat on the outside of their organs packed mostly around the waist, hips and stomach where it hangs like saddle bags for endurance provisions while walking and raising kids. Men pack the fat in and around the organs where it’s less of an encumbrance and can be accessed more quickly for action like spearing woolly mammoths. Also, if you drink booze, even if it’s low carb, the liver builds up fat around it from processing the alcohol as well as enlargening in size to deal with the added workload. Some people end up with livers the size of footballs. Amazing organ. The good news is, because men’s fat is stored so much on the inside, it’s easier to burn (as intended) when you do exercise.
