how my stomach is hard when I’m obese?

I’m 6’4 340lbs. I have a large gut (cuz I’m fat). I have friends who have the same stature but are flabby and soft.im a solid guy. Sure I have some Dunlop syndrome but for the most part all my fat is in my chest and gut.

I don’t understand how the body works.

Simply put, your fat is on your internal organs. Your stomach muscles are getting pressurized outward from it and feel hard as a result. I’ll guess you have a hard time breathing deeply too?

It’s called visceral fat, and it’s worse for you then subcutaneous or skin fat.. the usual flabby fat. If you start losing weight, it will be the first fat that starts disappearing.
