I see alot of ‘fight’ videos where the person ends ‘seizing up’ (limbs fully ‘erect’, face emotionless) What happens to those people?

Hopefully the top text isn’t too long. So what happens to those people? Is it a relatively ‘minor event’ where they can walk away from the experience? Or is this something that happens with an irreparable change in the brain?

I feel awful after seeing this happen, it would be nice to know that *some* of these people ‘came out’ alright, I have my doubts though.

Try and pull up some interview videos with older professional boxers. Getting hit in the head repeatedly gives you brain damage and it shows.

Sleep easy! As a long time boxing and mma fan, I’ve seen this happen so often. These fighters are always OK in that they eventually get up under their own powers and are back to normal in a few minutes. I’m not saying they don’t possibly face long-term damage but the KO phase is usually over with very quickly

I’d have to see it. Doesn’t seizing limbs mean brain damage?
