If an insect is inside of a container, but flying, is it adding weight to the container?

Can we use the same analogy with a pool? As in whether we are floating on the top or touching the ground, the mass of the column of water stays the same. Water and air are both liquids? Although the pool isn’t a closed system.

Maybe this could put it into perspective as well
