My family have an old reginal christmas cookie thats basicly just lard and sugar mixed with a bit of flour. Called ‘a fat cookie’ (danish: fedt kage). Everyone dislikes the idea because they grew up with the expectation that cookies need to be cooked (and this one doesnt)… untill they try it, and they all love it. Add some salted almonds in a bowl next to it and they eat too instead of all the other classic christmas treats.

Why dont you think ppl still eat fatty sweet and salty stuff? Think of all the bakery stuff, croissant and donuts ect, its all different kinds og fatty-sweet-salty stuff. Humans move that stuff.
