If you have cancer in a certain organ (like liver cancer) why can’t you just remove the infected organ and be cancerfree again?

it often works like that
but a few issues can occur
1- Cancer has the habit of spreading into other parts of the body, and when it does this its not immediatly clear, so surgucal removal might not do enough
2- the organ that is affected is critical and cant be surgically removed
