I was in an earthquake once. Living in a single-wide. It was bouncing, things were rattling and shaking everywhere. My father was walking across a parking lot when it happened, it took him off his feet and he couldn’t stand up again until it was over.

My mother was driving into town, didn’t feel a thing.

Short answer, you don’t feel the vibrations from an earthquake when you’re airborne.
