Couple ways:

1. Cold water. Yea, sometimes actors are showering under ice cold water. That’s love of art.

2. Cold water but with practical effects. You can use a vaporizer to put things like PG into the air. looks like a steamy shower then but it’s still ice cold and won’t fog up the lens.

3. Coat the lens with a hydrophobic substance. Prevents water from condensing on the lens, at least somewhat.
