Ingrown Hairs

392 viewsBiologyOther

I know. Random, v silly question… but ’m trying to understand why, even though I’ve always clean shaven my pubic area (female) since I was a teen, why I get more stubborn, ingrown hairs that lead to folliculitis as a person who is 30+ than unused to. (Throw away account because who wants their friends to see this question get asked ?😂)

Depending on how curly your hair is, and how sharp the end cut is, it will curl back toward the skin and pierce it, becoming ingrown. Consider shifting from razor to electric, or vice versa. Razor shaving with baby oil or a different cream might help as well.
