Is eating raw eggs each day healthy or not?

I heard that you become immune to salmonella at some point, but I don’t really know the health benefits or the down sides. I was wondering this because I heard my professor does this.

You cannot become immune to salmonella. You can get salmonella by eating raw eggs.

I know of no real benefits raw eggs would offer over cooked eggs. Eating eggs raw also lets you absorb less of the protein in them than eating them cooked and block absorbtion of vitamin B7.

Eating them raw MIGHT let you get some more vitamin A, B5, phosphorous and potassium, but you generaly get enough from other foods for it to not be relevant.
