Is stress really that ingrained that it can wake you up at the same time every morning?

I am in a pretty stressful college teaching job and since things got heavy, I wake at 04:12 every morning. I’m on medication for it during the day, but it’s not helping my sleep patterns. Is stress really that precise?

Yes. Humans have actually really accurate internal clock. It is a complicated system involving our nervous system, gut, metabolism and organs in them. We really don’t understand it as well as we do. Since just while ago we realized that humans have some sensitivity for sensing magnetic fields.

I get up at 6am, i got to bed around midnight. During the week when I have to go to work. I wake up exactly a moment before 2am and 5am. I know this because I live next to the cathedral and I can hear the bell rungs very clearly. (Quarter hours and hours.) I also wake up right a moment before my alarm.

Buf if I don’t have to wake up for work, I don’t wake up at the middle of the night.
