Studies have shown what matters most is routine. If you regularly go to bed later and still wake up after 6-8 hours that’s totally fine. Studies show that people who get that time in bed often have enough REM and deep sleep to heal their body etc. a really important thing to sleep is letting the light change naturally around you, for me personally, if I watch a sunset I will likely fall asleep a couple hours later and wake up after 7-8 hours
