Manchester City paid £100 million to transfer Jack Grealish from Aston Villa. How do football/soccer clubs pay the transfer fee to other clubs?

Probably wire transfers. As long as you have the money and you’re not trying to launder money, I don’t see why banks would oppose that. They certainly don’t pay those huge fees by walking around with suitcases, or even pellets, full of cash (at least, I think so?).
