The amount of times you eat in a day can help define your metabolism. Your body stores energy until its next meal and has the availability to burn the rest.

It is essentially a simplified way of saying how fast your body is going about all of the various chemical reactions that define life.

A higher metabolic rate means that all of the various chemical processes that’s your body does to convert food into energy is happening faster then it would for a person with a slower metabolic rate. And that has the advantage of allowing you access to more energy provided you remain well-fed, angeethi disadvantage of forcing you to need more food just to remain alive.
