Nose bridge tingles

Why does my nose bridge tingle whenever something comes close to it without touching it. For example if i put my finger close to it or if i wear sunglasses it starts tingling very noticeably. Does this happen to anyone else?

I’m pretty sure I know what you’re referring to, and it’s most likely your body heat and/or your body anticipating the touch. It’s why you can’t really tickle yourself – your body knows it’s coming and braces for it, so it doesn’t work. So your brain knows you’re going to touch your nose, your eyes can see it, both then you leave it hanging, so you get a weird anticipatory feeling. And like I said, if you’re close enough without touching, you can feel the heat radiating from your skin.

My personal experience is that the small hairs on my nose get tickled by the contact. You have hair almost everywhere on your body, even though most are so small you don’t notice them on a daily basis.
