Not all wounds scar because of size and how effective treatment was. Stitching a wound reduces the area where scar tissue needs to form. Visible scars are caused by the collagen of new skin growing in the same direction. I think most treatments to remove scars involve repeatedly damaging the scar tissue with needles, lasers, or chemicals so that when the collagen regrows it does so more randomly.
All wounds scar. Some are just not noticeable.
And you could do what you suggest. This is what reconstructive surgery does. It cuts out the scar, takes a piece of skin not scarred, and puts it in its place.
But you need to have a piece of skin available. This almost always comes from your own body. And then you need to close the hole you took the skin from. Most often, causing scars there.
The thing to remember is nothing heals completely scar free. Just, some are not noticeable. Or as noticeable.
