On Coursera, how does the text written by a person facing the camera appear correct?

I’m taking a Coursera class, and the videos show an instructor facing the camera while talking. He writes on the “screen”, using his right hand, and the notes appear correctly (also facing me) as if drawn on a glass window between us. How is this accomplished without him actually writing backwards a la Da Vinci? He is clearly writing on something board-sized.

With practice it’s not that difficult to write flipped… I used to get quite bored in high school and I’d try and write flipped both ways (vertically and horizontally) for example… Compared to some of the classes I had to attend that felt like a fun challenge to do.

Or maybe your teacher is left handed and the video is flipped…
